Class Themes

“Deep Relaxation” A focus on relaxing deeply, holding postures and letting go of stress in the body. When we lengthen the time in the posture, our fascia (the tissue surrounding our muscles and organs) begins to release, which unlocks our old muscle memory and allows for new healthier patterns to form. You will leave feeling refreshed and with a positive outlook.

“The Joy of Yoga!” An anatomical or philosophical theme to carried throughout the class. Focusing on alignment and deepening our understanding of the postures so one can feel lighter, stronger and more relaxed in the poses. A great class for all levels.

“Yoga Nidra” A meditative practice, where you set an intention and listen to a guided meditation, which puts you in touch with your physical, mental and emotional self. It works on the subconscious, transforming patterns in the mind. It is very peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating.

“Partner Yoga” Explores poses done with one or more persons. Forming a connection to ourselves and each other without judgement. This is a lot of fun! This spirit of sharing and togetherness often allows us to go deeper into the pose and connects us with a universal current of energy. Be prepared to smile and let go…
